1) Ash flew up a week early as a personal favor to me
2) I put him up in my house and covered his expenses
3) he worked till 2-4am every night on my car -which I finally drove home last night under its own power
4) fabricated a lot of things to get things to bolt on and work
- GT28RS turbos , Dual walbro setup , inconel manifold clearance, engine / tranny pull and install, jacked up factory wiring harness
5) Had 1 hour sleep the day of the dynoso yeah - I and others ( who appreciate when someone goes out of there way for u ) went out of the way for him to do simply things like 1) bring food since he was tuning the whole day and none was provided during the meet 2) watch his performance parts so that they dont get damaged or swiped by people who have stage 1-2-or 3 Z's who can't afford to get their own shit and would rather drive it like they stole it 3) manage the money and pay him for his time - so that no one - including myself - dont get short changed. The dyno cost $1K and and the tuning of 5 cars was $2K. All of which would have been covered by me if people didnt pay. 4) keep the cars constantly moving when he is ready for them so that the dyno time is maximized which helps the guys who paid to get tuning actually get tuned. So yeah - I guess I did or Eric "follow" him around - even though he was mostly in the service area - so that I could learn more about tuning and make sure that things ran smoothly - just like I did by being available with the guys at CAR V2 I don't even know why I'm wasting my time about common courtesy to you ... All three of us had less than 40 hours of sleep over a 7 day week ...he left his wife and child 4a week
to basically do service work ...something he prefers not to do much anymore ...I haven't driven my car since October and have failed 3x to get someone to do the work since United Auto Sales - service area shut down ...
